The problem with the Automotive Industry today…

Dear automotive industry,

Sponsor the events. As much as we all know that online influence is one of the greatest ways to sell and market your company, if you are a product developer, or you have something to sell, there has to be a forum for the consumer to use your products.

For a long time it’s been compared that online influence is more beneficial than in-person these days, but the truth is that they are very different things. All of the automotive enthusiast that modded their cars with products or somehow invested in automotive companies would be wasting all of this if they had nowhere to Showcase that investment.

That’s what it’s all about. The experience. Myself and many like me have invested in the experiences within the automotive industry to hope that it can continue and grow. Our time, our energy, our money, our own passion for cars, often sacrificed for the industry, for the events. There are many event organizers out there, struggling to continue and just as much as the industries leading companies hope to reach their consumers and encourage growth in their market, it is essential that both events, and industry leaders support each other so that our car culture can honestly survive.

Many talk about the older days when the industry was bigger and better, “fast and the furious days” (you know you’ve heard it lol) but the real difference from the Nopi Era and Hot Import Night’s Prime was the relation to the industry, the number of companies that supported the event.

From the bottom of my heart, I hope to see this connection, rekindled, and car culture to grow again. I know there are some companies out there making the connection already and you guys are on the right path, and to the events, don’t stop growing. As the industry grows, the market will grow, and as the market grows, so will your consumers, with the support of a full network, the possibilities are endless.

The important part is that the passion for cars (that all of us enthusiasts have) continues to have a space, and it is not the people (or consumers) that are exploited, but that we have a healthy industry that has been long evolved to hold standards (and space) for their consumers.

Sincerely,

Jtezza
